If you are currently a member of the BMS, BES, or DES community, we would like to invite you to join us next Wednesday evening, April 6, at 7:00 pm at Bow Memorial School in Room 7 (near the main office). The purpose of this meeting is to organize the Bow Memorial School Natural Playground Committee. This is a multifaceted and exciting endeavor. The goal is that the committee would help with:
* Fine tuning the new natural playground proposal
* Marketing
* Fundraising
* Coordinating volunteers and the solicitation of donations
This is a project with an immeasurable upside for the entire community, from children to adults. We look forward to sharing the vision for the transformation of the current playground space. We know your time is valuable and we wish to respect that. Our agenda for next Wednesday’s meeting is:
* Introductions and welcome
* A 20-30 minute overview of the concept
* Slide show presentation, developed for the School Board, which explains the concept and elements of the proposed space.
* Discussion of what is needed to move forward.
* A request of those in attendance to consider joining our committee and sharing how they might be willing to help. (This decision can also be made after the meeting as well.)
